THE APARTMENT
GENERAL
Please do not wear ski or snowboard boots indoors. There is a rack by the door. Skis and boards should be left in the ski locker on level 1 of building A (through reception and up a couple of flights of stairs. We would recommend that you do not store skis on the balcony, although crime is not rife in the area, we cannot guarantee that they will be there in the morning.
The apartment has French electric sockets but we have also added several UK socket bars. The bedroom has a charger for an iPhone or iPad and Apple Watch. If you do require USB charging, the TV has USB sockets.
KITCHEN
The kitchen consists of four hot plates and an oven / grill. We do have a slow cooker which is great for making stews. There is a kettle, toaster, waffle maker, sandwich toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine. There are a variety of pans and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery and glassware.

WIFI
There are two wifi networks in the apartment. The first is called Tartiflette, this is a French network. The second is called PentChy and is connected to a British VPN, this will make any connected devices think they are in the UK and is useful for things like BBC iPlayer.

TV
The TV in the bedroom is connected to an Amazon FireStick and can be used to watch BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, AllFour, Netflix and Amazon Video swell as many others. To operate, press the red button on the top of the remote control, and then use the smaller FireStick control. This TV is also capable of playing DVDs.
In the lounge there is a TV that can be used to watch either French TV or British TV through a second Amazon FireStick.
To watch French TV or Netflix France, press Home on the Sony remote. For TV navigate to Channel, for other French Apps, navigate Apps.
To watch British TV, press the top left button on the Sony remote and navigate to HDMI1 then start using the Amazon remote.

HEATING
The apartment is heated through underfloor heating, there is no control over this other than to open a window when things get too warm.

WASHING MACHINE
There is a washing machine located in the kitchen. There is hanging space in the bathroom and clothes horse which is better in the summer months. Clothes due dry quickly in the apartment but would recommend that you do not wash ski gear as this would take longer.

L'APPARTEMENT
INFORMATIONS GENERALES
Nous vous prions de ne pas porter vos chaussures de ski ou de snowboard à l'intérieur de l'appartement. Il y des étagères pour ceci à côté de la porte. Les skis et les snowboarders devraient être laissés dans le casier à ski au Niveau 1 du Bâtiment A (passez par L'Accueil et monter les marches. Nous vous conseillons de ne pas laisser vos skis sur le balcon, bien que le crime ne soit pas répandu dans le secteur, nous ne pouvons pas vous assurer qu'ils seront là au matin.

L'appartement a des prises françaises mais nous avons aussi ajouté quelques prises britanniques. La chambre a un chargeur pour un iPhone ou iPad et montre Apple. Si vous avez besoin de charger par USB, la télé a des chargeurs USB.
LA CUISINE
La cuisine a quatre plaques chauffantes et un four. Nous avons une mijoteuse qui est très utile pour faire des ragouts. Il y a une bouilloire, un grille-pain, une machine à gaufre, une machine à croque-monsieur (à l'anglaise!) et une machine à café Nespresso. Il y a des casseroles et la cuisine a tout ce qu'il faut au niveau de vaisselle et de verres.

WIFI
Il y a deux réseaux wifi dans l'appartement. Le premier s'appelle Tartiflette, ceci est un réseau français. Le deuxième s'appelle PentChy et est connecté à un VPN britannique, ceci dupe les appareils à penser qu'ils sont au Royaume-Uni et c'est très utile pour des choses comme BBC iPlayer.

TV
La télé dans la chambre est connectée à un Amazon FireStick et peut être utilisée pour regarder BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, AllFour, Netflix and Amazon Video et autres. Pour faire marcher, appuyez sur le bouton rouge en haut de la télécommande et ensuite utilisez la petite télécommande FireStick. Cette télé peut aussi jouer des DVDs.
Dans le salon il y a une télé qui peut être utilisée pour regarder soit la télé française soit la télé anglaise par un deuxième Amazon FireStick.
Afin de regarder la télé française ou Netflix France, appuyez sur Home sur la télécommande Sony. Pour la télé naviguez jusqu'à Channel, pour les autre applications française, naviguez Apps.
Afin de regarder la télé britannique, appuyez sur le bouton en haut à gauche de la télécommande Sony et naviguez jusqu'à HDMI1 et ensuite utilisez la télécommande Amazon.

CHAUFFAGE
L'appartement est chauffé par le sol, il n'y a pas de bouton pour contrôler le chauffage à part ouvrir la fenêtre s'il fait trop chaud.

MACHINE À LAVER
Il y a une machine a laver et vous pouvez sécher les vêtements dans le salle de bains.
